How can we help?

Your first campaign

  1. Create a campaign: enter a name, paste your destination, and choose where you’ll share it.
  2. Review and create your links, then copy each one to its matching channel.
  3. Open the campaign’s Links section, expand Checks & setup, and choose Check destinations before sharing. This checks the destination response without adding a click.
  4. Open a short link in a normal browser to test the journey. Your test visit counts as a recorded click. Refresh Analytics to see it.
  5. Change a destination from the campaign’s Links section when needed. The short link stays the same.

Clicks are events, not unique visitors or sales. LinkForge filters known automated previews, so an app preview may not appear as a click.

Quick answers

What happens when I mark a campaign completed?

It moves out of your Current campaigns list. Published links keep their existing controls and schedules, and the usual plan allowances still apply. Find it under Completed and choose Move to current to organize it again.

What happens when I deactivate and archive?

Archived links stop redirecting, including links already shared in posts, emails, or printed QR codes. Archiving a campaign stops every link in it. This frees active capacity and keeps analytics under the usual retention limits. Activate again when your plan has room; both the link and its campaign must be active. To keep a published link working, leave it active.

I haven’t received an account email, or the link expired

Check spam and confirm the email address. Request a fresh reset link from password recovery, or a fresh magic link from login. Open the newest link in the browser where you requested it. If signup confirmation is still missing, contact support; never send us your password or email token.

Why didn’t a preview count as a click?

Destination checks and HEAD requests do not add clicks. Known automated previews are filtered. Open the short link in a normal browser for a test visit; that visit can count. Counts are requests, not unique people or confirmed sales.

How do I import or take my links with me?

Open Links and choose Import CSV to review validation before committing. Export CSV downloads your links. A CSV does not move hosted short URLs to another service.

What changes when Premium ends?

Cancellation at period end keeps Premium until that period ends. Existing standard links continue working on Free; new or restored campaigns and links must fit Free limits. Premium reporting and controls require Premium. Review Plans & billing before making changes.

Can I connect a branded domain today?

New branded-domain setup is currently unavailable. Use standard LinkForge short links; they keep click tracking and campaign controls. Do not change your DNS records for LinkForge yet.
